The HSS500 horizontal sand mill is the largest standard chamber in the range, a 500-litre heavy duty unit built for titanium dioxide, mineral filler and high-volume coating slurry production in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. A 160kW motor drives a reinforced rotor shaft through a media charge that can include dense zirconia, and the whole drive train is sized for continuous operation at 500 to 4200 kg/h rather than for peak output on a short batch.
